Physicians Leadership Academy Graduation - 2021
“The Physicians Leadership Academy (PLA) welcomes 20 new graduates of the PLA to our growing PLA Alumni family.
And what a year it was.
This was our largest class thus far and came amid the strangest year that I can ever remember. Like most everything, the PLA had to adapt to the COVID circumstances and in that regard, I wish to thank this class for your amazing flexibility and kindness over this year. Because the Fall Retreat is so integral to what happens the rest of the year, we did hold it at Northpointe (Nationwide) with all kinds of precautions. In fact a good deal of the retreat was conducted outside at Highbanks Park. Thankfully, we had beautiful weather but I think most of Columbus was there wanting to enjoy the outside as well. Most of our faculty delivered their content virtually but we were finally able to have live presentations in May and June.
Each of our classes brings many memories and this one will hold a particular place in my heart for how you worked with all of this so gracefully.
Many thanks to the class, staff, and faculty for making what could have been a very difficult year into a very memorable one.”
