COTS Welcomes 12 New Hospital/FSED Members

COTS operates as a regional trauma organization (RTO) for 37 counties of central, southeast, and southeast central Ohio; making them the largest RTO in Ohio.

In addition to coordination of trauma care, the COTS RTO also ensures collaboration on emergency medical services and medicine initiatives as well as partners with our members to ensure our collective ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from real world/no-notice events, like the COVID-19 pandemic in which we are living.

The COTS regional trauma registry is now collecting trauma data from 52 central, southeast, and southeast central hospitals and free-standing emergency departments (FSEDs).
