New Member Spotlight: Melissa Winterhalter, MD
Here at the CMA, we’re excited for every new member that answers the call to join us. So, we’re going to be shining the spotlight on some of our new members as a to welcome them and for others to get to know them better.
This week Dr. Melissa Winterhalter, a Columbus pediatrician and new CMA Board of Director, answers some questions on central Ohio and if she prefers cats or dogs.
Why did you choose central Ohio to live and practice medicine?
My husband and I both did our residencies in Columbus and fell in love with the community so we decided to stay forever.
What is your favorite central Ohio restaurant?
I am a vegan so I love any restaurant with great veggie offerings. My husband loves craft beer so he told me to say Wolf's Ridge Brewing. My kids, who are not vegan, told me to say Skyline chili.

It may sound inconceivable but it's The Princess Bride.
Do you have a favorite band or musician?
My favorite way to hear music is to stream Tiny Desk Concerts from NPR on you tube, I love everything I hear from them

I'm an October baby so I love fall
