November Election Voting Begins

This year’s elections are now officially in the home stretch. As members make their decisions about candidates of their choice, here are a few reminders and updates for your consideration.

  1. Any registered Ohio voter does not need to wait until November 6th to cast their ballot for the candidates of your choice. Early voting begins this week. More information can be found at the Secretary of State's website: MyOhioVote.com

  2. The US Senate and Governor’s races receive regular polling in Ohio.

The most recent Governor’s poll to be released shows Mike DeWine with a 40% to 37% lead over Richard Cordray. This result is similar to several earlier polls, with DeWine holding a lead that is within the polling margin of error. (Mike DeWine holds narrow lead over Richard Cordray in new Ohio governor's race poll)

In the US Senate race, results in this poll are also relatively consistent with earlier results – Sherrod Brown with 50% to Jim Renecci’s 33%.
