Physicians Leadership Academy 2021/2022 Graduation
The Physicians Leadership Academy graduated our largest and most culturally diverse class to date on June 16, 2022. We were able to return to an almost all in-person format this year for the first time in two years. The only two exceptions were Chris Corrigan from Canada and Jeff Biehl who was traveling out West. To say the least, it was wonderful to be back together in person. We also found a new venue for our Spring Retreat through the help of PLA Board member Diane Habash-Brogan we found Marybrook. We had all the many acres of beautifully manicured and natural outdoor setting all to ourselves. Top that off with a beautiful weekend, weather-wise, and it was a memorable retreat. We also had Dr. Steph Costa join us this year as a Co-Director and she adds so much to it all.
Many thanks to all the staff (Diane, Kelly, Janice, and Stef) for a great year. Our coaches were also kept quite busy and so a shout-out to Drs. Jeff Bell, Terry Slayman, Lamont Clay, and Steph Costa.
Like all classes, this class leaves us all with such fond memories. We look forward to seeing everyone at upcoming Alumni events.
