COTS helps Adena Health System Reach Milestone

COTS is a group of physicians, healthcare professionals, and other experts working together to improve patient outcomes related to trauma, emergency services, and disaster preparedness. COTS provides the Healthcare Incident Liaison (HIL) role to support central and Southeast/Southeast Central Ohio hospitals and partnering agencies in the event of a real-world no-notice event, regardless of its scale. The HIL serves as a conduit for situational awareness and information sharing, assists with regional resource allocation, and facilitates the coordination of response activities for 62 trauma and acute care hospitals and free-standing emergency departments. Take a minute to learn how the COTS HIL supported one of our partners during the COVID pandemic:

“Today, July 7, 2021, marks a milestone in this fight against the COVID-19 battle for Adena Health System. We are currently projecting zero COVID positive or patients under investigation (PUI) across our health system. This is the first time since March 11, 2020!  Although it may not last, it is a testament to the fight that we have endured and so glad that we made it here. Thank you to COTS for working tirelessly along with us, to assure that we had everything we needed. The COTS team has been there for us no matter what and I know they will continue. We simply couldn’t have done this without COTS, and we can’t thank them enough for their hard work and dedication.”
