President's Message (September)

This month's President Message is all about our new micro volunteer tool, CMA | ENGAGE. This was developed as a response to our members wanting to get involved with the CMA but not really knowing where to start.

  • On the front page you’ll see a list current opportunities you can sign up for. They cover a variety of interests and time commitments so you can find the level of involvement that suites you.

  • Once you browse through the opportunities, be sure to opt in and set up your volunteer profile. When you opt in, you’ll begin receiving emails of opportunities you might be interested in. Set up your volunteer profile to select your personal interests, experience level, and your history of engagement.

  • One more interesting feature to point out is that if you find an opportunity you think a friend or colleague would be interested in, you can “nominate” them and the opportunity will be sent their way.

So, go check it out and see how your small bites can create a big impact!
